TOP: A group of children play a scavenger hunt game that required teamwork, as everyone had to keep their hands on a hula hoop during the game, at Youth Olympics Thursday in Budd Park. The event, sponsored by Don Bosco Centers, brought together children ages 4-14 from Whatsoever Community Center, the Don Bosco Youth Development Center, Upper Room summer school program and the North-East Library for a day of games. MIDDLE LEFT: Nine-year-old Emanuel Canclillo spins five hula hoops at once around his neck. MIDDLE RIGHT: Davione Blaise, 9, tries her best to throw as many flying discs through a hoop as she can. ABOVE: Mason Estes, left, and Daniel Manuelos, both 6 years old, play ball tag during Youth Olympics.
